Excellence du Val-Dieu – Fine Wine 9,5%
A unique blend of two completely different worlds
Val-Dieu Triple is aged in contact with a legendary terroir: Côte-Rôtie.
Born on the steep slopes of the Rhône Valley, the Côte-Rôtie appellation — one of the most noble appellations in France — is among the most noble in France. Its wines, made mainly from Syrah grapes, are distinguished by their aromatic depth and racy elegance. Aged in these exceptional barrels, our Val-Dieu Triple is enriched with rare and deep aromas, reminiscent of the richness and character of this legendary terroir.
Ripe fruit, sweet spices and refined wood make up the unique sensory profile of this exceptional beer, born of rare expertise and a daring combination.

The concept of barrel-aged beers
An unusual ageing process
The concept of Val-Dieu barrel-aged beers is based on a bold and unexpected combination of two worlds that are as different as night and day. On the one hand, there is Val-Dieu Triple beer, brewed traditionally in the heart of the abbey. On the other, there is a touch of authenticity from the ageing process in real barrels that once contained treasures from all over the world. This authentic brewing expertise carries with it the traces of a heritage that transcends borders.
Thanks to this unusual ageing process, the intoxicating essence of the barrel’s original contents infuses Val-Dieu Triple with unparalleled depth and complexity. Subtle woody, vanilla, spicy and fruity notes emanate from the beer, depending on the origin of the barrel, to create a symphony of ever-changing aromas and flavours.
