Val-Dieu Continues to Expand Its International Presence
April was a particularly dynamic month for the Brasserie de l’Abbaye du Val-Dieu, with a strong presence at two major events in the brewing and gastronomy industry.
A Strong Presence at Salón Gourmets in Madrid
From April 13 to 16, the Brasserie de l’Abbaye du Val-Dieu took part in the 39th edition of Salón Gourmets in Madrid, one of Europe’s leading gastronomic trade fairs. Bringing together more than 2,000 exhibitors and 117,000 professional visitors, the event offers an exceptional platform to showcase our brewing expertise to a demanding international audience.
Our participation enabled us to strengthen existing relationships, develop new business opportunities, and introduce the authenticity of our beers to new markets.

A Strong Presence at the Belgian Beer Weekend
From April 18 to 20, we also attended the Belgian Beer Weekend in Venice, an iconic event celebrating the richness and diversity of Belgian beer. This key gathering provided the perfect opportunity to highlight our heritage and identity to a passionate audience while reinforcing our position within the Belgian brewing landscape.
International Growth Gaining Momentum
Through these two events, the Brasserie de l’Abbaye du Val-Dieu reaffirms its commitment to expanding its international presence. Meeting both industry professionals and beer enthusiasts, in Belgium and abroad, remains essential to promoting our tradition, our quality, and the unique spirit of the Abbey far beyond our borders.
